7200
Link Page
This
page has been interposed so that members can log onto the latest
fund raising page for the 7200 trust that unlike 6989 is a privately
owned locomotive.
While
it is a fact that the 7200 and 6989 teams work closely together to
the mutual benefit of both locos the 7200 team will appreciate extra
support from members.
In
this regard John Porter and friends have been accepted into the Vale
Lottery where you can win up to £25,000 in any one week while
supporting the 7200 cause.
The
Vale Lottery web site may look slightly confusing to some people but
basically if you subscribe a weekly £1.00 then the 7200 Trust
receives 50% of your donation. (i.e. 52 weekly donations will give
the trust £26.00 for the year.) The rest of the money goes to
prizes except 10% which goes to other good causes in the Vale of Aylesbury.
Initially,
the 7200 Trust has a target of 50 subscribers which would bring in a
welcome £1300 over a period of a year plus each subscriber has a
1 in 50 chance of winning £25,000 for themselves or to share
with the Trust.
These
odds must be better than the National Lottery and the donation is
not entirely lost even if you dont win 50% still reaches the
7200 Trust which must be worthwhile.
You
can subscribe weekly, monthly or just make a one off payment for a
given period. If you want to opt out then you are free to do so at
any time. Payment is by credit or debit card and these details are
fully explained on the Vale Lottery site.
Just
click the link button to reach the 7200 ticket purchase page and you
could be supporting John and his team with every ticket purchased
plus you might want to share your winnings with the trust but that is optional.
Good
luck in your support given in this manner.
