UNOFFICIAL QUAINTON RAILWAY SOCIETY MEMBERS WEB SITE

CHRISTMAS 2017 – WILL IT ALL END IN TEARS?

At a time when Merry Gentlemen should be resting and dismayed by nothing the less Merry Gentlemen of the QRS Executive Committee continue to purvey disquiet, concern and victimization to those around them that have the affront to question their integrity.

Just now the Executive will be anxiously counting the takings from the Thomas events which this year will be significantly eroded by the need to employ more paid staff to run these events because of the diminished numbers of committed volunteers.

Even so, the Executive Committee is willing to dismiss loyal volunteers from the ranks of QRS membership just to shore up their crumbling status which will surely spread to the wider public attention as time goes by.

This web-site dearly wishes not to have to report negative issues but unfortunately the Executive continues to flout the rules of the Society and are taking out their displeasure against one of the Concerned Group of members that support these pages.

Members should be aware that these actions can be turned against anyone else unless the Shareholders properly understand their responsibilities because, if they do not then, the consequences may be very severe.

We have already published some of these ramifications early in 2017 but the Executive continued to hold an AGM that by any standards will be deemed as illegal. This is why your Executive Committee want to shut down this web-site and any other form of criticism.

The Executive is now perpetrating further illegal activities by attempting to dismiss a shareholder member using the wrong procedural rule. Undoubtedly, this action is to deprive not only the victimised member but also to DEPRIVE SHAREHOLDER MEMBERS OF THEIR RIGHT to make judgments for themselves.

THIS ACTION IS RESULTING IN CIVIL PROCEEDINGS BEING TAKEN AGAINST THE SOCIETY. A COPY OF THE CLAIM BEING LODGED WITH THE COUNTY COURT IN AYLESBURY IS REPRODUCED ON THIS WEB SITE AND MAY BE VIEWED BY CLICKING <HERE>.

The attendant publicity from an open court action will surely bring the Society into disrepute both in local terms and also throughout the railway heritage community.

The Quainton Railway Society Ltd belongs to the shareholder members not a private coterie of small minded persons both on the Executive and those surrounding them who would not be held accountable for mismanagement actions.

What is even worse is the Executive displays a remarkable aptitude for in-comprehension when it comes to matters of understanding both the RULES OF THE SOCIETY and the laws governing defined charities.

In order that members are able to make their own judgment over the issue of shareholder membership dismissal we have published the entire correspondence between the member and the Executive. This is only the latest breach of the Society Rules when the earlier AGM was actually conducted rendering the current Executive membership as illegally constituted and members should be aware of the whole problem.
